Customer Service Advisor
Knaresborough, Yorkshire
18 – 20k

Due to expansion, this business is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive person to join their small team as Customer Service Advisor, based at their headquarters in the beautiful town of Knaresborough.

As a business, they are passionate about saving the planet through green energy and saving their customers money by providing them with cost effective, controllable and stylish heating solutions that look great in their home.

As their Customer Services Advisor you will be vital to the continued success of the business. You're the first point of contact for their customers, answering their questions and sharing the benefits of electric slimline radiators over old-fashioned storage heaters; ultimately helping them to choose the right radiator for their home.

To be successful in this role you'll be a great rapport builder, who loves helping people to make good decisions, and to resolve any issues they may have. You will be a keen and quick learner with a real desire to add value to the team and help the business to grow further.

- First line telephone support for customers who are looking to buy a slimline electric radiator for their home.
- Support and advice for customers who have a query about the product they have purchased.
- Entry of orders into the sales software
- Preparation of orders for the picking and packing team
- Relationship building with customers, suppliers and your new team

- Positive and friendly by nature
- Confident and competent in basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Both the opportunity and the encouragement to build your skills and develop within the business
- Basic and ongoing training in a supportive and dynamic environment
- Competitive salary between £18k - £20k depending on experience
- Genuine opportunity to contribute the growth of green energy for the benefit of the planet

If this is you...
I am a cheery, positive person who loves to build rapport with people whether over the phone or face to face. I feel really happy to be working in a small, fun team and enjoy the banter we have while still working hard for our customers, and for the success of the business. I love the challenge of turning a grumpy customer into a happy one, and will do everything I can to showcase our high standards of service and over-deliver when I can. I am naturally very organised and take great personal pride in the quality of my work.
