A Contracts Manager/Estimator is required for a construction, maintenance and civil engineering company, based Torquay. This position requires an efficient individual, with construction experience either from a trades or office background to produce quotations and oversee small contracts, their works varies from small reactive maintenance and domestic works to commercial and education projects such as toilet block re-fits, classroom remodelling and extensions. You must be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, common sense and a positive attitude.
This job would be ideal for someone who has come either from a company undertaking similar works or for an individual with a trades background looking to progress their career.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Taking project briefs from customers
- Preparing quotations with a high degree of accuracy
- Working to tight deadlines to ensure quotation return dates are met
- Manage work flows with other staff
- Order materials and help with stock control
- Assist with the general day to day duties.
- Carry out daily site visits monitoring health and safety compliance and Quality Control Checks.
