They now have an exciting temporary opportunity for highly motivated Contract Coordinator to join their Customer Relations team on a 6 month temporary basis, working in an award winning and highly customer centric business in the heart of York’s city centre.

Some of the activities that you will be responsible for include;

- Tour set-up checks
- Reporting on contract status
- Contract commercially beneficial terms whilst maintaining and improving quality for periphery accounts
- Work with Contracts Manager to ensure all contract delivery is effective and meets defined deadlines and KPI’s
- Assist Contracts Manager with auditing process to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all contracts
- Responsible for the accuracy and on time delivery of contract documentation of main and periphery accounts
- Coordinate the completion of outstanding Health and Safety audits as assigned by Contracts Manager
- Responsible for the contracting and administration of all assigned overnight hotel accommodation following escalation process
- Produce reports within agree timescales on contract status including overnights
- Take accountability for the supplier management of periphery accounts
- Ensure timely delivery of additional capacity requests & coordinate weekly updates
- Responsible for assigned compensation recovery
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely tour information to all internal customers
- Coordinate & ensure all handovers are being completed accurately with the required level of detail to the relevant internal customer.
- Responsible for the monitoring of trend/sales analysis assigned by the Product Manager
- Responsible for researching competitor analysis assigned by the Product Manager
- Coordinate analysis/customer complaints and feedback for all overnights and action accordingly
- Assist in the resolution of critical contractual operational issues once escalated by the operations team including crisis response
- Assist with the delivery of a quality improvement plan assigned by the Product Manager

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience with a travel business or tour operator would be an advantage
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially focused with excellent negotiation skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to analyse & interpret management information
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft office

This is a temporary full time role for a period of 6 months starting in September 2019
Salary is £18,850 (pa)
