A precision engineering company based in Newhaven is looking for an experienced CNC Turner who can program and set Multi-Axis mill/turn machines to join their machine shop team. The role would suit someone who is a team player with supervisory skills.
Responsibilities to include
- Program and set CNC Multi Axis machines to manufacture precision parts to customers specifications.
- Improve existing production methods, problem solve and ensure continuous efficiency.
- Work to tight tolerances
- Oversee CNC Operators, helping them to develop and learn new skills.
- Ensure compliance to quality control procedures as outlined in ISO 9001.
- Work to tight deadlines
Skills & Experience required
- CNC Turning experience using Fanuc controls essential
- Knowledge of Multi axis mill turn machines
- Edgecam software preferred
Our standard working week is 39 hours over 4 ½ days however a 4 day week would be considered for the right applicant.
