This is an exciting opportunity to join an unique organisation that provides specialist domiciliary care and supported living services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. They provide comprehensive, focused and individualised care to vulnerable adults with a variety of conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, autism and learning disabilities.

They are currently seeking a full time Clinical Lead/RGN to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be expected to support their clients, specifically those with clinical needs and requirements by working closely with the Case Management team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced nurse who has excellent clinical skills and ideally have experience of working in a similar environment where clients are supported within their own home. Reporting to the Operations Director, your main duties will include:-

- Creating and updating clinical care plans and MAR charts
- Liaising with clients, their families and other healthcare professionals
- In partnership with the Services Development Manager, liaise with potential referrers and complete new client assessments
- Monitoring, recording and reporting changes in clients conditions
- Maintaining accurate detailed reports, records and documents
- Leading clinical training sessions such as PEG, Medication, Epilepsy/Buccal
- Conducting clinical supervisions and competency assessments and identifying training needs
- Completion of relevant audits
- Helping to prepare for CQC and other inspections

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following skills:-

- Excellent people skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Knowledge of key legislation and current care initiatives
- Ability to liaise at senior level with critical stakeholders and ability to assist with clinical areas of a tender
- In-depth knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act and CQC Fundamental Standards

Qualifications/Experience:-

- RGN
- Valid NMC Pin
- Minimum of 5 years recent and relevant experience in an acute setting
