They have a vacancy for a Technologist to work in their Chemical and Analytical Technology Business Centre.
The role will involve customer liaison, scheduling workloads, producing accurate detailed reports to strict deadlines, seminar presentations, supervisory responsibilities and carrying out a variety of non-routine chemical testing using wet and instrumental chemical techniques. Previous analytical experience is essential.
Candidates must have at least ‘A’ level qualifications in a science subject and ideally mathematics. A degree level qualification in chemistry or related subject would be desirable. The successful candidate should be familiar with chemical instrumentation such as GC-MS, UV-Vis and FT-IR; be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work and a meticulous eye for detail.
