This innovative, family owned contract caterer is looking to recruit a Chef Manager at an exciting new school in the Watford area.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent craft skills, be flexible in their approach and
self-motivated within a small team environment. You should be passionate about working in a school kitchen, providing healthy, nutritious lunches for around 200 children. Ideally you will already have experience within a similar role.
This is a term time position working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am-2pm.
Salary is £10.50 per hour.
Your duties will include, but not limited to
- Menu preparation and production achieved through your passion for serving high quality freshly cooked meals
- Food ordering and stock management
- Food hygiene, allergen and health and safety compliance
- Building a good working relationship with children and staff
- Providing friendly and polite customer service
Full training will be given and you will be provided with a uniform, pending completed DBS.
