Fantastic opportunity for a Care Home Manager for a newly refurbished and extended 74 bed elderly care home in Hamilton near Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, who is passionate about delivering consistently high levels of care. As the Manager, you will need to be a dynamic and proactive individual, with excellent ability to lead and motivate the team. You will need to be a Registered Nurse, who can combine clinical knowledge, excellent leadership and a great understanding of Care Inspectorate regulation with an astute and insightful management style. You will ensure the team delivers excellent person centred care by helping each resident enjoy the highest possible quality of life.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Home Manager, hold a management qualification or similar and have relevant experience working in a similar position within the care industry locally.
You will have managerial accountability for all aspects of the home including quality of care, effective and timely reporting and finance, whilst effectively delivering clinical excellence and leadership in a busy care home environment.
The home currently has an excellent staff team, who are eager, willing and able to deliver the very best care. With a kind, caring and calm approach the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be commercially aware along with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and key external shareholders.
