This well-established maintenance company is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager. The ideal candidate would have worked in a similar role previously, ideally for a specialist contractor.
This role would suit those with an inquiring, problem solving mind and also for those that are task oriented. Individuals who can act on their own initiative and are self-motivated with a competitive drive to get tasks completed would be suitable for this role.
Main responsibilities:
- Submit recruitment requirement in line with up and coming projects to contracts manager
- Research specialist Contractors
- Carry out and post inspections (checking quality/progression/working hours/operatives on site)
- Developing department roles and responsibilities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Monitor project Program of works, PCRs and Targets
- Manage geographical locations of projects
- Reporting percentage of work’s complete, ensuring quality standards are met and
reporting variations
- Validate sub-contractor quotations with site visits
- Ensure regular agreement of site instructions with the client
- Manage variations

- Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team
- Good time management
- Clean UK Driving Licence
