This small sized plumbing/mechanical company currently has an opportunity for college leavers, qualified to either GCSE level or A-level standard (or equivalent) to join their accomplished team at their Portsmouth Office, the role will involve taking projects from tender stage through to completion, liaising with the installation team, Architects, Main Contractors and Clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take part in all the production aspects of the projects in the office.
- Produce draft design drawings for projects.
- Produce CAD drawings.
- Carry out design calculations for checking and approval.
- Compile project packages including drawings and specifications.
- Ensure information is current, correctly filed and issued correctly.
No experience is necessary but the position is ideally suited to college leavers at either GCSE or A-Level standard (or equivalent) who can demonstrate:
- Minimum of 3 GCSE’s at grade ‘C’ or above, including Mathematics & English, and either; Completed first year of BTEC National Diploma or AS or 'A' levels
- Demonstrate an interest in and a desire to pursue a career in Building Services Engineering
- Commitment to continued education and improvement through on-the-job learning and training opportunities.

- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to think in a methodical way to design, plan and organize parts of projects
- English language proficient, holding excellent communication skills to present information in speech, drawings and reports
