Accounts & Audit Manager
£38,000 - £48,000 + Fringe benefits
Established and reputable regional firm who are keen to add an experienced and driven Accounts and Audit Manager to their team in Huntingdon.
This position is suitable for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant who will play a crucial role in the firm reporting directly to the partners. The role is typically made up of 60% accounts and 40% of audits and is an ideal opportunity for an individual to join an established three partner Accountancy practice with excellent career prospects. This is a key role in a firm planning for future development and growth.
The successful individual will have responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients including Limited companies, sole traders and partners from an array of industry sectors.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5.10pm (36 hours per week). Full time, permanent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the planning and completion of audits, including groups.
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts
- Preparation and review of corporation tax and general business tax computations
- Working closely with partners you will be responsible for clients and staff. This will involve managing jobs and developing strong relationships with clients, Managing and developing junior members of the team. Review and feedback on work carried out by the team.
- You will be expected to be involved with business development, helping to win new clients and tendering for jobs. Have excellent technical knowledge and would like to be involved in future projects including tax planning.
Skills:
- ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Must have good solid audit experience and excellent technical knowledge.
