Workshop Foreman - Tool/Plant Hire
If you're a skilled workshop foreman, experienced in organising, instructing and leading a team of fitters to deal with the day-to-day requirements of a busy tool/plant hire depot, then this friendly family company wants to hear from you.
This is a hands-on technical role, based at their west London depot, where you will be working with and organising a workshop-based team of three fitters. You will report to the service manager and the depot general manager, while working closely with the broader depot team of office, warehouse and driving staff.
Day to day, you will be involved in fault-finding, maintenance and repair of a wide range of equipment, including:
- Power tools such as grinders, drills and saws
- Lifting equipment such as hoists and material lifts
- Petrol and diesel engine equipment such as cut-off saws and generators
- Hydraulic equipment such as power packs and pallet trucks
- Air tools such as breakers and scabblers

Holiday: 28 days, rising to 33 days after five years' service (includes bank holidays)
Salary: In the region of £30,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
