This company is a leading global provider of Financial Spread Betting and CFDs. They have recently added Spread betting on Bitcoin Futures to our client offering, and they will be rolling out new products throughout the year.
Their trading platform is available as a desktop and browser based platform and a mobile version available on Android, iPhone and iPad, giving its users the freedom to trade on the move, 24 hours a day with real-time price updates; offering a dynamic mobile solution to the trader on the move.
They are currently through a digital transformation. With a major refresh about to begin, you’ll be pivotal to the next step in the company's evolution.
Your role:
Bringing your artistic flare to their online presence, you’ll lead the addition of new content to their fresh CMS.
You'll need a broad understanding of web technologies and will understand the importance of constant communication with the creative and marketing teams in the business which you will sit alongside.
You will have ownership of digital media creation to ensure that our business remains fresh and updated.
What you'll need to succeed:
Key Skills
- WordPress Theme design and development
- Strong graphic design skills
- Fluent in HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript
- Cross-browser development and testing experience
- Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Degree educated in Computer Science or equivalent similar related field
- At least 2 to 5+ years’ commercial experience
Desirable
- Experience with creating responsive designs and templates
- Appreciation of SEO considerations and best practices (including schema markup)
- PHP and experience with management of at least one CMS (WordPress, Magento, Drupal etc.)
- SQL
- Knowledge of Salesforce integration or similar CRM applications
- Trading experience and knowledge of CryptoCurrency beneficial but not necessary
