Join this award-winning agency who is looking for an experienced WordPress Project Developer to join their team of technical experts, at their office in Wokingham.

This is an additional role to join their growing team and would suit someone looking to be part of an agency striving for continual improvement and to be at the forefront their industry. Duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver highly accurate WordPress bespoke theme and plugin builds from a functionality specification and artwork provided by their designers and other creative agencies.
- Determine the best technical solutions for clients based on your knowledge and experience of WordPress solutions.
- Hand code your PHP, CSS, HTML and Javascript code to their defined coding standards.
- Provide solutions to complex API integrations with third party systems.
- Manage your own workload, take personal responsibility for delivering on time and be accountable for your decisions.
- Communicate effectively and responsively with the Project Manager, the rest of development team and clients.
- Display industry expertise and knowledge effectively to clients, and share best practice throughout the team.

If you’re the ideal candidate then you’ll have:
- Excellent CSS, Javascript and PHP skills and be able to demonstrate these during interview.
- A demonstrable portfolio of WordPress sites with complex API integrations, multilingual sites, Git workflows and/or WooCommerce.
- Experience of using Sketch/Photoshop/XD; task runners such as Gulp/Grunt; CSS frameworks; and deployment processes such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Familiarity of Agile working methodologies.
- A logical thought process and an ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients & colleagues.
- Experience of client expectation management.
- At least three years commercial experience of front and backend WordPress development either in another agency or as a freelancer.
