This company is seeking to recruit a Wood / Snooker Cue finisher.
Training will be given but an aptitude for good hand working skills and pride in your work are essential.
The successful candidate will be working in a high end Hand Made Snooker Cue manufacturing workshop.
They are a small friendly company, who are looking for a long term employee.
They make top end handmade Snooker cues, supplying many top professionals and with a worldwide customer base.
Wage rate is negotiable depending on ability and can increase with experience and aptitude.
Monday - Friday - 40 Hrs per week
Responsibilities;
- Planning and sanding snooker cues, applying finishes and polishing
- Planning using jigs and by eye
- Glueing and clamping
- Helping others around workshop
- The use of hand tools (especially Hand Planes) and Woodworking machines
- Understanding timber
- General woodworking practices.
