This not-for-profit engineering and business training provider is currently seeking an experienced Welding and Fabrication Instructor / Assessor to work from their training facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
The successful applicant is likely to be a time served fabricator welder, with experience in delivering engineering apprenticeship training and assessment.
They should ideally hold a teaching qualification.
TWI CSWIP accreditation would be an advantage.
Main Duties:
- Develop high quality teaching and learning resources
- Deliver high quality apprentice training programmes (welding and fabrication)
- Develop and deliver high quality commercial training programmes (welding and fabrication)
- Develop and maintain good and outstanding review, assessment and examination practices
- Maintain learner training records as required by awarding bodies
- Support the growth of apprenticeships and standalone training programmes
