Due to continued expansion the Company are seeking a Weighbridge / Logistics Administrator located from their Ellesmere Port site.
This is a temporary role but may have the possibility to go permanent.
Weighbridge / Logistics Administrator
Working in a busy environment the successful candidate must be highly organised, have a good eye for detail with strong IT and communication skills. Experience dealing with high volumes of goods being dispatched in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring vehicles attending site have the correct and necessary paperwork
- Maintain high levels of good customer service
- Ensure weighbridge customers are aware of Health and Safety within the site
- Adding and updating information on internal software system
- Assist with general, operational and maintenance administrative duties when required
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 1 years administration experience
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office packages
- Proactive with strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
- Due to the location of the site own transport is essential.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a FMCG environment
- Ability to demonstrate strong excel skills
The Weighbridge / Logistics Administrator position is available for an immediate start. 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday.
