This is an opportunity to join a branding and eCommerce agency specialising in high end fashion and retail industry solutions. They are currently looking to employ a confident and talented web developer to join their growing London Shoreditch based team to make beautiful websites together.
In this role you will be working directly with the Technical Director and design team on client projects, problem solving, system maintenance and configuration.
You will have the opportunity to define the internal custom theme building process and Shopify/Shopify PLUS site setups.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Build out design comps accurately using well-organised and reusable code
- Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues
- Keep abreast of best practices/trends/tools
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Experience:
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of JavaScript frameworks
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Great attention to design and detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A strong understanding of UX design
- A portfolio of web projects
- Ability to learn and expand your skills by taking on new tasks
