The Person:

Due to expansion, they are looking for a highly-motivated Shopify Web Developer, with good experience, and a confidence and positive attitude. They will be expected to work alongside their Head of eCommerce in developing and shaping their web strategy and, as the business grows, help to build their web team. They are open to either a junior or mid-level experienced Developer.

The Role:

This is a key role within their growing business so it is important that you have experience of the following:

- Managing the implementation, development and maintenance of websites
- Research, development, testing and implementation of new features and functionality - A/B testing
- Integrating third party software and apps
- Modifying and updating Shopify features to improve usability and security
- Testing and optimising sites for cross-browser compatibility, including responsive web and for mobile
- Staying up to date with the latest front end technologies and standards to ensure best practices are applied

Essential skills:

- At least 2 years of web development experience, with experience in Shopify.
- Shopify Development: 1 year
- Ability to prioritise workload and work on multiple projects
- An eye for design and user experience
- Knowledge of Javascript, Ruby, Liquid, PHP, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Shopify Theme Dev (Slate).
- A good understanding of SEO and digital marketing
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good team player with good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
- Commercially aware & forward thinking

Desirable skills:

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web

Salary: £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 dependant on experience
