As part of their web development team, you'll be responsible for transforming their designs into dynamic, responsive, fully functioning websites, deploying to their various environments and helping ensure all their live sites keep running smoothly. Their designer loves to push the boundaries, so you'll never get bored.

They are looking for someone with passion and drive, who wants to make an impact and for their ideas to be heard and actioned. Their team is highly collaborative and supportive - more than just colleagues, they are friends, and whilst they take their work seriously they have fun along the way.

Experience and skills:
- 1 year + web development experience
- Good knowledge of HTML (ideally 5), CSS (or SASS), Javascript (ideally 6)
- Good knowledge of PHP, jQuery, terminals and relational databases.
- Good knowledge of creating custom themes for Wordpress.
- Experience with Git/ version control.
- Experience with server management, e.g. Linux, SSH.
- Experience with DNS
- Familiarity with APIs/ interacting with new interfaces.
- Familiarity with cross-browser/cross-device idiosyncrasies.
- Familiarity with the principles of Object Oriented Programming.
- Ideally, familiarity with task runners and build tools e.g. Grunt, Gulp, Webpack.
- You have an analytical problem-solving ability to find the root cause.
- You value writing clean, readable and reusable code.
- You have high attention to detail and an eye for design.

Key tasks:
- To build brand new websites based on mockups and technical briefs
- To update existing websites based on mockups and technical briefs
- To thoroughly test your code - cross browser, device, UI, functionality
- To problem solve, fix bugs and issues
- To deploy to production and development servers
- To improve and maintain existing code including refactoring old code
- To document your code and maintain accurate records of changes
- To deliver work on time and to the high standards we expect
- To uphold excellent internal/ external communication and collaboration standards
- To help maintain and improve internal development systems, tools and processes
