As a part of our development team, working from our Middlesbrough HQ, you’ll be joining the development team in its infancy and have the opportunity to help mould the department, working alongside the Head of Development and the Technology Director. You will be part of the team responsible for creating automation tools and web-based software, primarily utilising PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, with the aim of improving the efficiency of our business and our clients campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good working knowledge of PHP.
- Knowledge of MySQL relational databases.
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Good working knowledge of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of RESTful API.
- Good understanding of Privacy by Design.
- Willing to learn additional languages and technologies as required.
Additional desirables:
- Knowledge of an existing PHP Content Management System, such as WordPress.
- Knowledge of CSS Preprocessing, such as LESS or SASS.
- Knowledge of coding standards and style guides, such as PSR-2.
