This award winning digital agency based in Baldock is looking to recruit a Web Developer. If successful in your application, you will be joining a small but well established team with a great reputation and big ambitions. This is a varied and busy role involving designing and implementing new features to their existing CMS and WooCommerce systems, working with directly with clients on development projects and assisting the web design team with technical issues.
You often will be working on a multiple projects at the same time so great organisational skills are required. You may also need to be able sell your ideas to clients so interpersonal skills would be helpful.
The role may be adapted overtime to suit an individual's strengths.
The Requirements:
- PHP 5+ (OOP)
- HTML5, CSS3
- Ajax / Javascript / jQuery
- Laravel preferably though experience with any MVC framework will be beneficial
- Experience in WordPress
- Git (Ideally)
- Applicants should have good IT knowledge and reasonable understanding domains, emails, servers.
- Ability to self learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies.
- Experience with APIs and integrating payment gateways is useful but not required.
- Experience using Excel or similar is useful but not required.
- Experience working in a web development studio is useful but not required.
