The Role
You will be building WordPress content hubs to a very high standard using the latest WordPress coding standards and techniques. You will be expected to always be pushing to optimise and automate their build and test processes using tools like Composer and Jenkins.

As well as content hubs you will be also helping spec and build a range of plugins that make use of the data platform that help content editors gauge how content performs on their site as well as making authoring the right content easier.

Skills
Although the following skills are required / desirable a positive and self learning attitude will be highly valued.

Required
- Strong PHP skills
- Understanding of OOP design patterns
- WordPress plugins and widgets
- WordPress APIs
- REST APis (building and querying)
- Git
- Composer
- WPML / WooCommerce / ACF
- Trello

Responsibilities
- Peer reviewing code
- Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff
- Creating estimates and updating project manager using appropriate tools (Trello)

About you
You will be passionate about building the right thing properly using WordPress and fully understand where WordPress strengths and weaknesses lie.Implementing coding standards and testing to build robust and scalable content hubs.

You will be keen to increasingly improve the way we work and the processes we adopt and help push forward the roadmaps for these.
