Responsibilities:
- Developing front end website architecture
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Developing back end website applications
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Ensuring cross-platform optimisation for mobile phones
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
- Working with SEO to ensure best possible build structure for search engines
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
- Designing, developing and consuming APIs
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Skills and Experience:
- Computer Science degree/equivalent experience
- Test Driven Development
- Organisational & project management skills
- Front end languages eg HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of VueJS framework
- Knowledge & experience of PHP7
- At least 2 years' experience with Laravel 5 framework
- Familiarity with database technology eg MySQL
- Experience using version control systems eg GIT
- Verbal communication skills
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks eg Angular JS and React, & server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java &.Net
- Experience using CMS frameworks eg Wordpress, Magento, Drupal
