They are looking for a keen and passionate front end web developer with an eye for detail and a flair for creative solutions. You will have a good understanding and experience of both web design and web development processes, including planning, responsive design and testing, and you will have a passion for new challenges and learning new skills.

Main duties and responsibilities
- To liaise with other teams around the business including digital designers and research consultants to understand requirements and ensure the final product delivers the intended message.
- To plan and deliver front end website functionality including building layout and structure of websites in HTML, styling elements and developing bespoke design using CSS and JavaScript; working with frameworks such as bootstrap, jQuery and Modernizr.
- To communicate with clients in a professional manner and offer advice and support as well as assisting clients by carrying out ad-hoc amends and updates to existing websites.
- To carry out essential testing of websites and new features. - This includes cross browser testing as well as testing on a variety of devices ensuring everything works as intended and delivers a consistent user experience.
- To work collaboratively with the team by both offering and seeking support, advice and insight in order to make every product they create better than its predecessor.

Required skills
- Eye and passion for detail
- Experienced in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Good understanding of developing responsive websites and experience carrying out cross-browser as well as cross-platform testing
- A creative flair and passion for digital design
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan your own work effectively and prioritise your workload

Desirable skills
- Good understanding of key design principles such as typography and layout
- Experience using latest CSS3 concepts such as keyframes, transforms and advanced layout features
- Experience of developing intuitive UI interaction features using jQuery or other JavaScript frameworks
- Some knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
- Some insight into CSS preprocessors such as less or sass
