This fast growing marketing company is looking for a dynamic and talented front end developer to join our digital agency as they continue to grow. You’ll be working with their award-winning in-house development team in the heart of Preston city centre. Reporting to their Technical Director, you’ll work across a wide variety of client projects such as legacy and new websites, as well as across their innovative projects.
What they are looking for is enthusiasm for overcoming a wide variety of coding challenges. who fully understands the latest cutting edge requirements when writing front-end code for multiple devices. Working within small project teams which are Agile and Scrum focused, they expect you to deliver beautiful and elegant experiences to maximise the UX.

Essentials:
- HTML5/CSS3 (SASS/LESS)
- Javascript and jQuery
- Task runners such as Grunt or Gulp
- Version control systems, such as Git
- Translate Photoshop mock-ups into responsive front-end builds.
Desirable:
- JavaScript framework experience such as AngularJS, EmberJS, React, Backbone etc.
- Twig or similar template engine experience
- Experience writing BEM/OOCSS
- Experience with Bootstrap and/or similar front-end framework (e.g. Inuit, Foundation)
- PHP knowledge (particularly WordPress theme development and frameworks like Laravel/Symfony)
- Experience working in an Agile team
- An understanding of performance and scalability
- Comfortable with Photoshop/Illustrator
