This company is currently seeking a C# .NET Web Developer to join their team in Norwich on a permanent basis. You'll work with smart and dynamic people who are passionate about delivering creative and effective solutions for their customers. You will be working on a variety of exciting projects, ranging from the development and maintenance of bespoke solutions to the development and support of their e-StudentTracker and WAM systems which supply services to 1000s of users.

As well as these projects, they also create and maintain websites in the Kentico CMS, and you will provide an active role both in the development of new websites and the support and maintenance of those already developed. They also have opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge through research and development jobs, which in the past has enabled their employees to venture into the development of VR portfolios, maths games and Apps for Android and iOS.

Empresa's office is located on Pottergate in the centre of Norwich making it easily accessible via bus and the park and ride facilities located around the City. The office provides a relaxed atmosphere where staff have a great team ethos, providing support and guidance through sharing ideas and knowledge.

In return they provide a generous holiday entitlement of 33 days per annum (including Bank Holidays), access to free tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the day, and free social staff events organised throughout the year.

Competencies

- Capability to prepare a detailed technical specification based on user requirements.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio 2015 & later versions including C# 6 & above, web development using HTML 5, JavaScript etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- In-depth appreciation of the full software application development cycle.
- Can produce complex documents using appropriate MS Visio or similar tools to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

Candidates wishing to apply for this position will ideally possess a degree or other relevant qualification in a web or software related discipline, although this isn't a strict requirement.
