Working as part of their small development team, the company is looking for a web developer with the vision, confidence and determination to design and implement the right solutions to problems as part of a dedicated group. Their feature set is driven by their established client base spread primarily across the UK, reaching throughout Europe and the wider world.
Good client facing skills are essential to ensure that their client’s needs are gathered, understood and acted upon as necessary. Good technical skills are required to discuss those ideas with the development team and implementing the final solution.
Essential
- A creative flair, keen to learn and a passion for web development
- An ability to operate individually or as part of a small team
- Confidence in dealing with new and existing clients varying in technical ability
- Microsoft web stack experience (ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI in C#, Javascript and SQL)
- Competence in general web technology such as HTML, XML, CSS and jQuery
A minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience in a similar role
- Knowledge or experience in development of medium to large, enterprise applications
- Experience of source control, including but not restricted to Visual Studio Online
- Good GUI design skills
- Experience in the design, implementation and use of REST APIs
- Knowledge and/or experience of cloud-based services
- Experience working to agile methods
