This company is a specialist provider of web management services to car dealers and manufacturers. Based in Dorking, Surrey, they are looking to recruit a talented design focused front end developer.
Your role will be critical across the business working with various stakeholders to deliver solutions for their internal and external products, whilst being able to translate the business requirements of their clients to create the best end product.
You will have at least five years experience with substantial HTML, CSS3 and web design expertise with a broad knowledge and understanding of reactive and or flexible design principles.
KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Very strong HTML, CSS3, Responsive Design/Adaptive Design (Experience is essential)
- Be up to date and passionate about the finest modern design practice, design and build approaches ie: mobile first
- Experience with SASS/LESS CSS pre processing
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
- Very comfortable around Javascript/jQuery
- Working with version control, in particular GIT
- Understanding and or have worked with CMS’s ie: Concrete5/joomla/wordpress etc
- Knowledge of or working around PHP/MySQL is desirable
- Understanding of API’s
NON TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- High attention to detail and quality orientated
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable presenting solutions to senior stakeholders and clients
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn new technologies to help improve the software and software development process
- Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the delivery team
