This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, dynamic company. They are currently seeking an experienced Goods In Warehouse Team Leader to further strengthen their team based in Barnsley.

This is a hands-on position in a busy warehouse. The successful Team Leader will need to provide efficiency and accuracy in order to successfully supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives. The successful candidate will have strong communication and people skills. You will display a high level of customer service and have evidence of improving and managing warehouse KPI’s.

Responsibilities include:

- Liaising with senior management and reporting issues
- Managing time and resources within the Goods Inwards operation
- Working alongside your colleagues to improve efficiency and monitor daily goods inwards KPI's.
- Undertake employee relations duties such as investigations, disciplinary and return to work meetings.
- Liaise daily with the quality, supply chain and distribution departments.
- Responsible for general housekeeping and maintaining a 5s culture throughout the department.

Essential to the role requires:

- Experienced Goods Inwards Warehouse Team Leader with people management experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good inter-personal skills, problem solver and have a desire to continuously develop the team and department.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst managing time and resources.
- Good organisational skills
- Computer literate, including good MS Office experience

Additionally, it would be desirable if candidates possess a Bendi/Flexi truck licence.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The company offers 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), rising to 26 days after 5 years’ service, Health Shield plan and Pension.
