This company is seeking for an experienced individual for warehouse operator position. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of Electrical Installation Equipment include Circuit protection, Industrial Plugs and Sockets, Rotary Switches and Other Products TBA. You will also responsible for the workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.

Report directly to Managing Director, you will take full accountabilities for the management of day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This is a hands-on position, with an emphasis on attention to detail.

Work Activities:

The warehouse operator will have a strategic role in conjunction with The Managing Director in planning, coordinating, administration and general design of the warehouse and its system.

Specific tasks carried out by the warehouse will include:

- Liaising with customers, suppliers, logistic and transport companies;
- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods;
- Responsible for container unloading
- Carry on in-house product testing when requires
- Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met;
- Having clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these;
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerised system where necessary;
- Responding to and dealing with customer communication by e-mail and telephone;
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate;
- Planning future capacity requirements;
- Be self-motivated in organising and encouraging teamwork within the company to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
- Ensuring cleanliness, organization, productivity in the warehouse at all time;
- Producing regular reports and statistics on weekly and monthly basis;
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock is stored safely;

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years warehouse experience with experiences with computerised inventory system ;
- Basic computer knowledge and skills;
- Knowledge of warehouse planning and operations;
- Personal health in good condition
- Fork lift licence or with electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage
