A food wholesale & catering equipment distribution company is looking for hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable multi drop delivery drivers/warehouse operatives.
The role will involve manual handling activities i.e. pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
The duties will include:
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Delivering goods to customers
- Booking goods in
- Booking goods out
- Picking and packing
- Loading and unloading
- Moving pallets
- Matching of delivery notes with goods received
- Matching of picking lists with goods going out to customers
Keeping the warehouse tidy
- Going out on delivery trips with the drivers to deliver goods to customers
Personal Attributes:
- Punctual and reliable
- Well organised and able to work under pressure
- Must be accurate and efficient
- Must be able to work on own initiative
- Able to work in a warehouse environment
- Have approachable personality, be flexible and easy-going
- A good work ethic and commitment to get the job done
- To have reasonable level of fitness
This role is permanently based in Purfleet, West Thurrock .
