The Company:
Founded in 1984, this company has grown to become a leading national supplier of both janitorial supplies and door furniture + furniture fittings. Quality is important to them and they have the accreditation's to prove it. As a family-run business, they also pride themselves on their levels of customer service and support, and keep their customers central to all they do.

The Role:
Due to growth, they are seeking a flexible professional and customer-focused driver and warehouse operative to join their supportive team in Newton Abbot. Your role is split between picking and packing orders using their computer order processing system, working in their warehouse and delivering when needed using their 3.5 tonne vans. Full driving licence is essential. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch making 42.5 hours per week.

As a regular point of contact for their customers, you will act as an ambassador for the company, developing a good knowledge of their product range and providing an accurate and friendly service whilst building strong working relationships with clients. Accuracy when picking orders is essential as well as keeping areas clean and tidy.

- As a conscientious team player, you’ll have strong communication skills, a proactive work ethic and experience delivering high standards of customer care.
- Known as someone who can be relied on, you stick to the rules, proactively report and solve problems and are always happy to help out your colleagues.
- You approach work in a calm and methodical manner, applying patience and a good sense of perspective in all situations, even when busy.
- A good level of literacy and a keen eye for detail are also important.
- A positive and cheerful personality, enjoying interaction with customers and providing excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build rapport and engage with customers and maintain excellent customer relationships
