This leading European supplier of technical textile threads to the Automotive Supply Chain, is now looking for a Warehouse Operatives to work Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 17:00 and Fridays 08:00 - 16:00).

The job entails carrying out all warehouse duties, In line with Company procedures and work instructions following Health and Safety Law and good practice.

The main responsibilities are:
Manual order picking.
- Checking of picked orders to ensure correct product and quantity.
- Packing of orders to standard & customer specifications.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.
- Secure, weigh and wrap pallets for transit.
- Attach all necessary labelling for transport and identification.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles and containers, both manually and using FLT.
- Receipt and checking of Goods In.
- Checking and despatch of Goods Out.
- Monitoring and requesting replenishment of consumables (e.g. pallets, cartons, tape).
- Rolling/Annual Stock Counts.
- Weighing & counting of finished goods sold by weight.
- Checking and storing of finished goods stock.
- Maintaining the general work area in a clean and organised condition.
- Carrying out daily and weekly checks on Pedestrian Pallet Truck and Forklift Trucks.
- Co-operating with managers and supervisors in carrying out other tasks within the department as required to fulfil business needs.
- To wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety rules.
- Report any unsafe conditions or faults with equipment.
- To actively participate in waste reduction and energy saving initiatives.

Necessary requirements:
Fork Lift Truck Licence – Counterbalance.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence to operate FLT on public highway.
- Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 25kg.
- GCSE grade A to C or equivalent in Maths.
- Good literacy and handwriting skills.
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Computer literate with some knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- SAP experience desirable (Training will be given).
- Enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
- Professional and motivated approach.
