This is an opportunity to join a leading online E-Commerce retailer in the automotive products market. They are an independent, profitable, privately owned business with a multi-million pound turnover and over 15 full time employees. They are looking to recruit warehouse operatives to join their busy team in West Cumbria.
You will have previous experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
The right person for this job is someone who can work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of picking accuracy. They will also be adaptable and flexible in order to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
This is a manual handling role so you will need to be physically fit and prepared to work both in an outside yard as well as an indoor environment.
Your duties will include:
- Loading and Unloading of Delivery vehicles
- Marshalling of delivery vehicles in a yard environment
- Picking and packing orders
- Stock taking and stock rotation
- Keeping the warehouse/yard clean, tidy and safe
- Maintaining equipment
Skills:
- Good numeracy and ability to accurately read and decipher stock codes
- Ability to achieve a high work rate to a consistently high standard
- Good communication and working as part of a team
- Ability to respond to rapidly changing situations
- Ability to remember product details and stock locations
- IT literate with experience of using computer warehouse systems
- Ability to work to high Health & Safety standards
- Current or expired counterbalance forklift truck licence would be an advantage.

You must hold a full manual car driving license and have your own transport.
