Warehouse Operative/ Multi Drop Delivery Driver required for Packaging Materials Distributor.
Unique single site family run company requires a Warehouse Operative and relief Delivery Driver. This company distributes all manner of packaging materials from small boxes of polythene bags up to multiple palletised items. They deliver within an approximate radius of 30 miles of Letchworth in their own vehicles on a multi drop basis around 30 deliveries per day.
They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative used to picking, offloading, preparing routes, vehicle loading and then acting as a secondary Multi Drop delivery driver with ideally good local road knowledge within their delivery radius.
They run 3 vehicles a 7.5tonne lorry, a Mercedes Sprinter Van and a smaller Transit Van
Requirements
- 7.5t HGV License is a must as well as a Driver Tacho Card and a Certificate of Competency.
- Must hold a valid driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Will be responsible for daily vehicle checks
- Forklift license for Counter Balance & Reach Truck preferred but not essential.
- The job will involve a fair amount manual lifting and moving of stock so candidate must be physically fit.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Package Details
Hours of work 8.00am – 5.00pm Mon-Thurs. Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm with one hour for lunch.
20 Days holiday per year + Bank Holidays
