This rapidly expanding b2c and b2b online retailer and wholesaler, specialises in home wares and seasonal product fulfilment & distribution through the UK & Worldwide.

They are now looking to recruit an 'all round - hands on' Warehouse Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Ideally, you will possess a background in warehouse management and order fulfilment, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This role would suit an individual who is looking to grow and develop with a forward thinking company and is prepared to help grow the company with it's ambition to double in size within 2 years.

You will be expected to engage in the day to day management of the warehouse operation, drive efficiency and motivate your team.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Rota/schedule/holiday/sickness planning and management.
- Conduct staff training and 1-2-1 development plans.
- Keeping records of staff sickness and lateness.
- Staff recruitment & interviews.
- Weekly Action Plans with the MD.
- Ordering consumables, roll cages, pallets & packaging.
- Spot checks on orders leaving the building.
- Checking compliance with Royal Mail presentation specifications.
- Co-ordinate goods in & receiving, and monthly container tipping.
- Constantly looking to make efficiency savings where possible.
- Co-ordinate pick & pack routines using Peoplevox WMS hand held scanners and WMS system.
- Analyse reports and take appropriate actions.
- Health & safety practice and documentation.
- Co-ordinate with external contractor's such as couriers firms, drivers, cleaners, agencies, etc.
- Prioritise pick and pack routines for multiple carriers with different van deadlines through the day.
- Process wholesale orders at the collection counter.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to evidence relevant experience
- Previous experience within a warehouse/fulfilment role
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Have good time management skills
- Proficient will Microsoft Excel.
- Be able to work under their own initiative
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be proactive with a desire to succeed
- Be well organised and show keen attention to detail
