They are looking for an experienced warehouse manager to oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of international goods, ensuring that productivity targets are met whilst maintaining stock control systems are up to date. Monitoring stock levels and planning for future capacity will also be an essential part of your role.
You will be adept at training, monitoring, organising and motivating your team to ensure targets are met. Excellent oral and written communication with other departments, staff groups and customers must be of a high standard and able to produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Essential Experience:
- Warehouse management – knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse
- Administering stock control
- Process driven using own initiative and decisiveness
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Training, supervising and appraising staff
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of a team
- Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas
- Technical IT skills, particularly database management and spreadsheets
- Process driven and organised
- Flexible

Desirable Experience:
- Fork lift licence
- Manual handling training
