Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for your next move?

This company is the largest independent Ecig retailer in the UK and they are looking for a driven and experienced Warehouse Manager to help them continue to build the strength of their expanding warehouse operation, providing 100% distribution and replenishment services to their stores, franchises, wholesale and e-commerce site.

Their 85 stores are located across the whole of the UK with plans to scale to 300+ stores over the coming years.

Responsibilities:
- Attain SLA targets for retail stores (Mainline & Franchise) and Wholesale department
- Management, development and resource allocation for warehouse and logistics teams
- Communicating with Operations Director on all warehouse activities, including implementing a continuous improvement policy
- Assessment and implementation of standard operating procedures, including ISO standards
- Managing and reporting on set KPIs including developing clear and accurate productivity and efficiency metrics to manage and improve the productivity of the workforce
- Stock control management including robust processes through ‘Goods in’ and ‘Goods Out’, stock taking, batch control, stock rotation (FIFO)
- Planning warehouse floor layout and replenishment flow to ensure effective and efficient stock picking
- Staff training and mentoring
- Budgetary control
- Courier Management
- Responsible for H&S within warehouse and that all staff practice a duty of care approach towards themselves and their colleagues including ensuring full training is provided and records are maintained
- WMS control – ensure all staff adhere to system requirements to protect the integrity of the data
- Create a 'customer experience' mind-set within the warehouse operations and logistics teams and ensure great service is recognised and delivered

Knowledge requirements:
- Knowledge of ERP and WMS systems
- Knowledge of Warehouse functionality and implementing and adhering to continuous improvement practices
- Awareness of managing inventory/stores functions
- Experience and knowledge of H&S practices
- Previous retail warehouse experience

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a multi-functional FMCG medium-large warehouse managerial role, with a proven track record of success in ensuring a KPI/ financially efficient operation is maintained. Although not essential it would be desirable for the successful applicant to hold an IOSH qualification and a working knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
