This fleet management solutions provider is looking to recruit a Vehicle Inspector.

Purpose:
- To oversee vehicle inspections liaising where necessary with internal departments and ensure all operational SLA’s are adhered to.
- Provide pro-active hands on workshop assistance and willingness to become involved in all operational activities.
- Seek to maximise all fee derived income from vehicle storage and reallocation services.
- Continual focus on delivering first class customer service.
- Deputise and assist for the department manager providing support and cover on Reallocation and Logistics responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake comprehensive vehicle inspections in accordance with set criteria precisely documenting interior and exterior conditions with a meticulous eye capable of identifying and reporting on previous body repairs.
- Ensure all vehicle appraisals are undertaken within agreed SLA, associated paperwork compiled, check and validate vehicle RFL, MOT and servicing information and ensure CLM systems are updated accordingly.
- Ability to undertake comprehensive road tests with a sound knowledge of basic motor vehicle mechanics and body repair methods.
- Pro-actively review and prioritise as necessary all appraisal responsibilities liaising with internal departments and colleagues alike.
- Using standardised reports record severity of body damage compiling repair estimates utilising pre-agreed pricing matrix.
- Provide assistance and support for other vehicle inspectors as required.
- To ensure all stock and vehicle keys are secure at all times.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness standards are adhered to and all stock is cleaned in timely manner.
- To ensure all outbound stock receives Pre Delivery Inspection fulfilling stringent standards.
- Undertake weekly stock and key check and highlight to management any anomalies.
- Provide support and guidance on hire vehicle repairs / servicing in respect of charges and best route to repair.
- Ensure workshop and site remains clean and tidy.
- Stock rotation between sites, suppliers, valeting agents and end users as and when

There may be requirements from time to time for additional duties, tasks or responsibilities that are required for the continued smooth running of the operation and for that of the wider business to be undertaken as requested across several site locations.

Measures of Success & KPIs:
- Effective and timely turnaround of all returned vehicle appraisals.
- Oversee and collate weekly stock and key check.
- Oversee and collate daily vehicle valeting schedule.

Experience:
- Proven and solid automotive experience in operational environment.
- Experience of vehicle repair techniques and ability to highlight substandard repairs.

Skills:
- Full UK Driving License.
- Ability to prioritise workload and succeed in fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
