A bit about this company:
They are a time and attendance and workforce management software company. They sell their products in the UK and Australia through a number of distributors, so their actual team is a small group of developers. They currently have a team of four, looking to expand to six - so if a big company is your thing, they are not for you.
A bit about you:
They need someone to help them with their desktop software, which is currently in use every day by over 500 companies. Ideally the right candidate will evolve to take full ownership of the product; not just chasing down bugs but adding new features and enhancements, dealing with technical support enquiries from their 3 UK partners (not end users) and managing new releases. This is an opportunity to take something successful and established and make it your own.
- Expertise of working with VB6 and MSSQL is essential
- You should be able to bring your own imagination and creativity to help deliver the best products for their customers
- Experience of C#/Javascript/asp.net would be useful, as it would further your understanding of their other products, but not essential.
- Happy working on solo projects and team efforts
