The Unified Communications team are responsible for the deployment and maintenance of leading edge technologies to enable real time communication and the exchanging of ideas. We are looking for a Unified Communications Manager to develop strategy and support services across the company.

Reporting to the Director of Technology Delivery & Service, you will be responsible for establishing a long term roadmap with the goal of developing current technologies and processes. You will work alongside other team leads to enable the business to compete globally through emerging technologies and innovative solutions.

Leading the Unified Communications team, you will oversee the day to day technical support for multiple solutions globally whilst utilising the ITIL/ ITSM best practices and standards. You will get involved in the business development and pre-sales activities as well as overseeing the Unified Communications vendors and contracts.

You will have solid knowledge of Unified Communication solutions (VoIP, fixed, mobile and converged), and knowledge of the Avaya suite would be advantageous. We’ve pulled together a few other essentials below:

- Effective communicator, able to build rapport and influence a range of individuals (including leadership).
- Accountability to take ownership of projects and manage through to completion.
- Proactive and flexible approach, focussed on finding the o ptimal solution.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the following:
1. Microsoft: OCS R2/ Lync 2010 & 2013, Active Directory, Share Point 2010 & 2013, Office
2. Networking: TCP/ IP/ DNS/ DHCP/ SIP/ VPN/ MPLS
3. Security: network and application security, firewall technologies, anti-virus and STMP
