Location: Bourne - commutable from Sleaford / Spalding / Stamford / Peterborough
Reports to: Branch Manager

Role Purpose
- To be confident in mechanic repairs and have relevant experience.
- To be competent in fast fit repairs i.e. tyre fitting, brakes, suspension, exhausts
- To deliver excellent customer service.
- To Adhere to all relevant Health and Safety requirements
- To communicate company vision for “quality at all costs”

Technical Competencies:
Brakes, Suspension, Exhausts, Tyres.

Key duties and responsibilities
- Vehicle Inspections, identify worn and faulty components
- Support the Manager in all aspects of Vehicle Inspections and fast fit repairs
- Work under own initiative
- Provide excellent customer service
- Advise customer of work required to ensure vehicle is in road worthy condition
- Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with the companies procedures
- Contribute to good housekeeping routines
- Understand and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures

Working hours
Opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am-6pm and Sat 8am – 4pm. Your working hours will be 46 hours per week at pre determined times within their opening times however, you may need to work extra hours on occasions.

Salary
Pay scale with vary depending on age and experience between £16,500 to £20,332 per annum plus opportunity for bonus.

Person Specification - Essential

Basic standard in English and Maths
- Experienced in tyre fitting
- Able to cope in a physically demanding role
- Ability to produce high quality work within specified time frames
- Understand the importance of good customer service
- Driving Licence
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative
- Good, reliable timekeeper
- Team player /flexible with daily routines & workload
- Organised and excellent time management skills
- Flexible working times
- Able to organise own transport to work
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively work with people regardless of their ethnic, cultural, social backgrounds, their gender, age, religious belief, disability and sexual orientation.

Person Specification - Desirable
- NVQ Level 2/3 motor vehicle
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
- Experienced in Fast fit repairs i.e. Brakes, suspension, exhausts, batteries.
- Clean Driving Licence
- Good understanding of tyres, regarding fitments and technical information
