The company is entering an exciting period of growth, we are now on a journey to deliver ambitious new plans and have great opportunity for a Tutor to join the family. The opportunity will require extensive travel within the Midlands region with occasional over night stay. A full driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.

The Role

You will be working with learners distanced from employment, teaching through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms in subjects such as Health & Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service, IT, Hospitality and Employability. You will be effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability, to progress onto apprenticeships and ultimately employment.

The Individual

Your industry knowledge is really valued, competence and experience, so although holding a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed or equivalent) would be great, full training and support will be provided.

You will be able to provide the highest standards of customer service to successfully engage learners. You will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly. Proven experience of delivering training, managing classrooms and assessing learners would be a distinct advantage.
