This ambitious business delivers training solutions and workforce consultancy to learners and employers throughout the East Midlands. They are graded Good by OFSTED across all areas of the business and hold Quality 9001 accreditation, Matrix and IIP Silver. Their ‘PRAISE’ values (pride, respect, accountability, integrity and service excellence) drive all delivery services both to their employers and learners, and to their own employees, always embedding professionalism within a culture of continuous improvement.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Tutor to join the family based at their Nottingham Training Centre. This is a full time role, with some travel between sites as required within the East Midlands, a driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.

The Role

You will be working with learners distanced from employment, teaching through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms in subjects such as Health & Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service and Employability. You will be effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability, to progress onto apprenticeships and ultimately employment.

The Individual

We really value your industry knowledge, competence and experience, so although holding a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed or equivalent) would be great, full training and support will be provided if you have a real passion for sharing your knowledge, learning and developing others.

You will be an effective communicator, able to provide the highest standards of customer service to engage learners. An excellent planner, you will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly. Proven experience of delivering training, managing classrooms and assessing learners would be a distinct advantage.

The Company

They currently have six fixed delivery centres and hundreds of work-based learners throughout the Midlands with the next phase of their growth already under implementation.

In return, they offer excellent terms and conditions including:
- 36 days holiday (inc. bank holidays)
- Contributory pension scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
