They are currently recruiting for an experienced transport management professional for their growing operation to develop, manage and maintain an efficient, economic and financially viable commercial vehicle service at their plant in Perth.
The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of a range of transport function operations in a fast moving distribution environment to ensure that the transport teams meet statutory and operational licence obligations. The Transport Manager will oversee the day to day operations as well as the distribution and collection of goods associated with the Perth plant, to meet operational, legal and customer requirements. The Transport Manager will be responsible for the Transport Supervisors and drivers.
A highly competent manager, you must possess excellent communication skills to enable interaction with staff and key stakeholders and be proficient in IT skills. You must hold a Management Freight Certificate of Professional Competence as you will be the named manager on the Company Operator Licence. It is desirable that you hold your own HGV Class 2 Licence along with CPC.
