Originally as a Transport Company, it has developed in to a multi-modal operator and set in to 4 Divisions to reflect the diverse nature of the business and clients it serves
Transport - General haulage, Freight Forwarding & Warehousing
Heavy Lift - Heavy transport, Crane Hire, Lifting & Project management
Marine - Chartering, Stevedoring, Ships Agency
Consulting - Surveying, site access studies & reporting

The Company operate from sites in Halifax, Goole and Grangemouth

The Role:
- Working as part of the SHEQ team, this appointment will report directly to the SHEQ Manager
- Assist in the delivery of all Training duties, regime and recording process including:
- Development of the training facility
- Undertaking driver CPC training sessions and Driver Assessments
- Manual Handling, FLT, Lorry loader, & Slinger/signaler/banksman training
- Delivery/assess of the C&G Ab Loads Escort Driver Qualifications (Training provided)

Qualifications/Experience
Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience within the Logistics or Heavy Lifting industry and attain the following requirements:
- Possess a PTLLS or Recognised Teaching Qualification
- Previous experience/qualification for undertaking vocational assessment
- Experience of developing training courses
- Driver CPC training (JAUPT approved preferably)
- Undertaking LGV Driver Assessments, previous experience preferred.
- Approved Forklift trainer
- ALLMI Registered trainer
- FORS Approved Safe Urban Driving trainer
- Approved Manual Handling Trainer
- Demonstrates a high level of competence and awareness of documentation, recording and reporting
- Full UK Driving Licence holder is essential (Cat B minimum, C+E would be advantageous)
- Previous experience of delivering City & Guilds Land based qualifications.

Location
The role is based at the Head office at Halifax, although travel will be required to service their operatives based at their additional depots at Goole and Grangemouth. Also, travel will be required to attending site meetings and service client requirements from time to time

Conditions
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs,
28 days Holiday per year including Bank Holiday
