This company provides an opportunity to join a creative and innovative designer and manufacturer of high end furniture for commercial public spaces. Their unique concepts and materials are filling a gap in the architecture and design market, they are a fast growing ambitious company and now have an opportunity for a trainee Joiner / Carpenter to join their highly skilled installation team working nationwide..

They are looking for a talented individual with potential and ability to learn and develop into a skilled craftsman and team leader. They must have good organisation and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

They provide high end products specialising in modular reception desks and public space furniture for the commercial sectors working in unique materials like Solid Surface (Corian, Hi-Macs, Krion, Avonite), Concrete & Metal.

The position will require working away Monday to Friday.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- NVQ City & Guilds Level 2 in Bench Joinery/ Carpentry or Site Joinery/ Carpentry.
- 1 year joinery work experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Good time management and reliable with the ability to work to instruction and deadline.
- Sense of pride in their work, accurate and strong attention to detail.
- CSCS card.

Salary:
£17,000 - £20,000 Based on contracted hours (Negotiable subject to experience).
£21,000 - £25,000 Based on typical working week.

Overtime at time and a half. Overtime applies after 12 hours and weekends.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week contract. Typical site week is between 50 - 60 hours

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
