Sales Executive Trainee

Are you a frustrated Recruitment Consultant? Are you bored of being an Estate Agent? Have you worked in Retail but are looking for more? If so, this role may be for you. This company is currently looking to expand their growing sales team by recruiting the best talent.

You will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, building client relationships and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. You will build and maintain a database of client details and review your own sales and financial data.

Full training will be given as well as opportunities to develop a career as a professional sales executive in the broadcast industry. The role may not be for everyone but with the right attitude anything can be achieved. They have great success stories of individuals who have come from retail and telesales backgrounds and are now top earners in the industry.

What are the responsibilities of a Sales Executive?

- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone and personal visits
- Maintain and develop a computerised customer and future client database.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

What skills / experience do I need to be a Trainee Sales Executive?

- Some previous sales / target environment experience is desirable but not essential
- An interest in technology is helpful
- Willingness to learn and be patient
- Proficiency in English written and spoken
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Willing to develop, evolve and progress with the company
- Experience in B2B sales is a huge plus

The successful candidate will have of experience in a sales role or have raw skills in sales and is willing to develop those skills further. Working closely with all teams within an office based environment, you will have a collaborative work ethos with a drive for individual excellence.

Plus uncapped commissions OTE typically £12000 - £30000
