This vibrant firm of whole of market Chartered Financial Planners is continuing to rapidly build their paraplanning capability. Therefore another exciting career development opportunity has arisen for a trainee paraplanner to join this firm, based in Tunbridge Wells.

To apply for this role you must have experience in either a financial services administration or a similar trainee paraplanning role.

For your application to be considered, you must also answer the additional job chat questions required.

It is also desirable for you to have started your studies to achieve the Chartered Insurance Institute's Diploma in Financial Planning (if you have credits with other recognised professional bodies, these must be recognised by the CII, this is because they are Chartered Financial Planners). A full role profile will be provided if you are selected for interview, but an outline of the duties is as follows:

Following training and appropriate development, you will provide full support functionality to the financial planners and directors including:

- Drafting of suitability reports for the advisers within the agreed timescale
- Attending client and product provider meetings as required by the financial planning team
- Conduct whole of market research using the agreed research tools.
- Create cashflow models using the company’s designated software
- Carry out various ad-hoc administration duties as and when required
- Ensuring documents are uploaded to the relative client database on the company’s preferred client system
- To maintain accurate time records using tasks to ensure that all appropriate client work is time logged
- To undertake asset allocation comparisons using the company's in house tool

The company will provide full support for further study and the successful applicant can expect to develop their financial services career over time.
